Typical structure of a stainless steel inner pot:
Inner pot body: A straight-sided pot body formed through multiple stretching processes.
Bottom plate (base dish): An aluminum plate is added to the outside of the stainless steel bottom plate to better dissipate heat from the heating plate.
Composite bottom: The aluminum plate is firmly bonded to the stainless steel bottom plate using a brazing process.

Production Process
The complete production process of stainless steel inner pots is divided into four phases: Drawing & Forming, Annealing, Brazing Composite Bottom, and Precision Polishing.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1:What are the main differences between production lines for stainless steel liners and aluminum liners?
The key differences are: aluminum inner pots require a coating line (non-stick coating), but no polishing line; stainless steel inner pots require a polishing line (internal and external precision polishing), but no coating line. Additionally, stainless steel inner pots are more difficult to draw, requiring annealing treatment and a brazing composite bottom process.
Q2: What materials are used for brazing the composite bottom of stainless steel inner pots?
Usually, 1060 aluminum sheets are used, which are brazed to the stainless steel bottom sheet to ensure bonding strength and thermal conductivity.
Q3: What effect does polishing a stainless steel inner pot achieve?
After polishing, stainless steel inner pots can achieve a mirror finish (Ra ≤ 0.2μm) – a smooth, reflective surface where food does not easily stick and cleaning is easy. The optional sand bottom process provides a brushed finish to meet different product positioning requirements.
Q4: How is the bonding strength of the brazed composite bottom guaranteed?
We ensure brazing bond strength through: 1) Base plate embossing to increase bonding area; 2) Precise brazing temperature control; 3) Accurate filler material dosage and distribution; 4) Controlled cooling rate after brazing. Bond strength is batch-sampled for every production run.
Q5: How much is the investment for a stainless steel liner production line?
Stainless steel inner pot production lines require higher investment than aluminum lines due to the inclusion of annealing furnaces, brazing machines, and multiple polishing machines. The exact investment depends on capacity configuration and automation level – please contact us for detailed customized solutions and pricing.
