Bending radius standardization
The bending radius should try to achieve "one pipe the first mock examination" and "multiple pipes the first mock examination". For a pipe, no matter how many bends there are and the bending angle, the bending radius can only be one, because the pipe bender does not change the module during the bending process, which is "one pipe, one die". The "multi pipe the first mock examination" means that pipes with the same diameter and specification should use the same bending radius as far as possible, that is, use the same set of modules to bend pipes with different shapes, which is conducive to reducing the number of modules.
Bending radius
The size of the pipe bending radius determines the resistance of the pipe during bending. Generally speaking, the pipe diameter is large and the bending radius is small, so internal wrinkling and slipping are easy to occur during bending, and the bending quality is difficult to guarantee. Therefore, the R value of the bending die is generally 2-3 times of the pipe diameter.
Bending forming speed
The main influence of the bending forming speed on the forming quality is: too fast, it is easy to cause the flattening of the bending part of the pipe, and the roundness can not meet the requirements, causing the pipe to crack and break; If the speed is too slow, it is easy to cause the wrinkling of the conduit and the slipping of the clamping block, and the pipe with large diameter is easy to cause the collapse of the curved part of the conduit. According to a large number of tests on these two CNC pipe benders, it is appropriate to determine the bending speed of the pipe as 20% - 40% of the maximum bending speed of the machine.
Mandrel and its position
During the bending process, the core rod mainly plays the role of supporting the inner wall of the pipe bending radius to prevent its deformation. It is difficult to guarantee the quality of domestic pipe bending on machine tool without mandrel. There are many types of mandrels, such as cylindrical mandrels, universal single, double, three and four ball head mandrels, directional single and multiple ball head mandrels, etc. In addition, the position of the mandrel also has a certain impact on the bending forming of the conduit: theoretically, its tangent should be flush with the tangent of the bending die, but a large number of tests have proved that it is better to advance 1~2mm, and the bending quality is ideal at this time. Of course, too much advance will cause the so-called "goose head" phenomenon on the outer wall of the curved part.
