Internal structure of rice cooker:

 

Temperature limiter: also known as magnetic steel. It is a device that converts electrical energy into heat and keeps it at a constant temperature. There are two types of temperature limiters. One is made of permanent magnets, and the other is made of magnetic materials. The former is suitable for electrical appliances with smaller power. It has a permanent magnetic ring and a spring that presses against the center of the hot plate.


Heating plate: The electric heating pot is the main heating element of the electric rice cooker. The electric heating pot is made of aluminum and has an electric heating tube inside. Put the inner pot on top of the electric heating pot, and you can see the inside of the electric heating pot when you take it out.

How a rice cooker works.


Heat preservation switch: also known as thermostat. This kind of switch is generally installed in the control circuit of household appliances. It has temperature display and control functions, which can make electrical appliances work at a constant temperature.


Electric heating element: commonly known as electric heater. It can also be called heating wire. It consists of a spring leaf, a pair of normally closed contacts, a pair of normally open contacts and a bimetallic sheet.


Lever Switches: Lever switches are fully mechanical with constant normally open contacts. When the temperature rises to a certain level (that is, exceeds the set value), the lever switch is automatically opened to connect the heating element with the temperature limiting element; when the temperature drops to a predetermined value, the lever switch is closed to cut off the circuit.


When cooking, press this switch to connect the heat pipe and the power heating indicator light will be on. When the meal is ready, the thermostat pops out, actuating the lever switch to open the contacts. Then the heat pipe is only controlled by the heat preservation switch.


Current limiting resistor: the appearance is golden yellow or white, the size is like a 3W resistor, and it is pressed between the heating tube and the power supply to protect the heating tube. A common current limiting resistor is 185C5A or 10A (depending on the power of the rice cooker).


Inductance coil: The inductance coil consists of two parts: a metal shell and an insulator. The shell is generally made of plastic, and copper is also available, but the cost is high and it is easy to damage; the insulator is mainly made of mica tape. The current limiting resistor is a key component to protect the heating tube, and it can be replaced by a conductor!
